Salon Owner and Manager
Sue Oliver has enjoyed over 23 years' experience in dog grooming including running Derby College Dog Grooming Salon at Broomfield Hall. Sue is an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) and has Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS). Sue holds the City and Guilds 7750 Level 3 Advanced Dog Grooming Qualification along with many more.
Sue is also an examiner for ICMG UK and works closely within the dog grooming industry to strive towards the highest standards.
Jess Peggs
Dog Groomer and Teacher
Jess is a big part of the dog grooming school and has vast experience in both grooming and teaching. Jess has been grooming dogs for over 9 years and trained with Sue from the beginning of her grooming career.
Jess is a fully qualified International Certified Master Groomer along with holding City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Jess has also completed her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, Level 3 City and Guilds Apprenticeship in Animal Care and she has also competed at grooming events and is a very confident groomer and a great team member.
Lindsey March
Examination Invigilator
Lindsey is our Examination’s Invigilator and also works within our marketing team. Lindsey is qualified with OCN Dog Grooming and has many years experience in the dog grooming and animal care industry. Lindsey plays a large integral part within our team.

Sue Oliver at Crufts 2025
We had an amazing show this year on our trade stand at Crufts, NEC Birmingham and we were even featured in the newspapers!
Crufts is the worlds largest dog show. We carried out grooming demonstrations along with selling our grooming retail stock. Crufts is a must for anyone in the grooming industry. We have a stand every year where you can come and chat about our grooming courses and much more. Next years dates are 5th to 8th March 2026.
International Students
This summer we welcomed students from Korea in collaboration with Burton College. The students were visiting the UK on a 4-week learning programme from their University and explored our grooming school to gain experience within the salon and appreciate the grooming industry in a real environment. They enjoyed seeing how to manage the dogs with care and experience various grooming techniques on a Miniature Schnauzer called Mollie and a Sproodle called Reggie. We really enjoyed hosting the overseas learners and showing them our grooming school and studio.
